Kallidopoulou Anna-Eleni B.Sc., M.A.

Anna-Eleni Kallidopoulou was born in Thessaloniki where she lives and works. She is a British University graduate, with a degree BSc in Computing Science, East Anglia, Norwich, fully recognized by the Greek Authority DI.KA.TSA/ D.O.A.T.A.P – Hellenic National Academic Recognition and Information Center (Hellenic NARIC) and equivalent to the basic degree of Applied Informatics studies awarded by the University of Macedonia.
In 1999, she attended the first synchronous online course in Greece in the subject “Digital image and sound processing”, (Responsible Professor I. Pittas), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH).
In 2014, she obtained a master’s degree in “Graphic Arts-Multimedia”, Hellenic Open University with research implementation focused on Usability-Accessibility-User Experience (UX).
Founding member of the European club of Macedonia-Thrace and of the Balkan Environmental Network Association – B.E.N.A. . She participated in the Organizing Committee in the Educational European Program COMMET2_ISFITT “Software Technology Applications and Transfer of Technology”, organized by the Center for Social Innovation, Wien, Austria, and the European Club of Macedonia-Thrace (1992) and in 4 scientific papers she participated in 4 scientific papers published in International environmental conferences (1999-2001 B.E.N.A.).
Until 2000 she worked in Marketing-Sales of CAD Systems for the ready-to-wear industries (POLYTROPON LTD) and in teaching IT courses in the Private educational sector in educational organizations and colleges. She was also employed in Marketing and Sales of educational programs, Analysis of educational needs for the Training of Business Executives in IT applications and Programming.
In 2003 she employed in the Marketing of Multimedia Applications in Tessera Multimedia SA, and worked under a project contract in the implementation of the DUNES (Dialogic and Argumentative Negotiation Educational Software) project, in collaboration with corresponding companies and research centers from various European countries , within the framework of the European IST Program.
From 2000 to 2019 she worked on a Fixed-term contract in the Secondary and Higher Education at the former Alexander Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEI Thessalonikis) now the International Hellenic University (IHU) as a Lab Associate for the Department of Sciences in the School of Economic Management, in both the Librarianship and Tourism Business departments, at IEK Thessaloniki 2 as an instructor, at the Vocational Schools (EPA.S) of the Former Labor Force Employment Organization (OAED) now Public Employment Service, D.YP.A., 2nd EPA.S, EPA.S ORAIOKASTROU, as an hourly/substitute teacher.
From 2020 until now, she joined the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering, International Hellenic University (IHU), Thessaloniki, Greece, as a lab associate with an open-ended contract of the former A.TE.I Thessalonikis. with teaching assignments of Web Languages and Technologies, Structured Programming lab courses.
