Abstract:

The dissertation investigates the impact of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI) on multimedia educational environments in Virtual Reality (VR), with the main goal of improving concentration, learning effectiveness, safety, and reliability. It focuses on leveraging the capabilities of GenAI for the design of interactive, audiovisual, and adaptive learning experiences that respond to the personalized needs of learners. The research aims to develop and evaluate innovative pedagogical methods for integrating AI, with an emphasis on student engagement, active participation, and the enhancement of cognitive involvement. At the same time, it examines the technical and ethical dimensions concerning data security and trust in intelligent systems. The final outcome aims to shape a new framework of educational technology, capable of combining the innovation of AI with the experience of virtual learning.
