Visiting Lecturers

Agapi Mesodiakaki is a postdoctoral researcher with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH). She obtained her five-year diploma (MSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in February 2011 and in the same year, she was granted the prestigious Marie-Curie Early-Stage-Researcher scholarship. She obtained her Ph.D. from the Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya in Barcelona with Cum Laude, while her dissertation was awarded as one of the best dissertations of the year. She worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Karlstad University (KAU) in Sweden and in January 2018, she joined the Wireless and Photonic Systems and Networks (WinPhoS) group at AUTH’s Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation (C.I.R.I.). She has authored more 40 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences (h-index=15). Her main research interests include energy-efficient radio resource management, cognitive radio, mmWave, beyond 5G and 6G, converged fiber-wireless networks and optimization theory.
